LGBTQ Film Festival 2017
Every year, a new visual identity is created for the film festival. This year I was happy to be asked to create the visual identity. I wanted to make a design that was both emotional and relatable to the LGBTQ+ community. I chose to work with the concept of glitch art - a glitch can be described as an error in a structured system. Sometimes the LGBTQ+ community is made to feel like a flaw in the norm, but I wanted to emphasize that we are the powerful and colourful individuals that this festival is all about.
